The Information Systems Program is a program that is designed to educate students so that they can apply technology to business problems. It can be done on campus full time, face to face. It's also offered in a distance format. What we do is we record the classes for the students. And so it's almost like they're sitting in the class, and they really do come to think of themselves as being part of a cohort. So it's not like they're sitting alone at home, doing something on the computer.
Another distinguishing aspect of our program is that we take the professional fees that students pay, and it's used to fund an international trip. So students really have the option and the ability to travel internationally and see how information systems are used in other countries.
I chose to pursue a dual degree within Master's of Science in Information Systems. It allows me to have the technology background in a world that's becoming increasingly digitalized.
The Master's of Science in Information Systems has been able to give me the knowledge of business analytics, data analytics. We're able to apply that right now, moving forward in our everyday careers.
